I must be the only one on here who's loving the World Cup?! I wish I was in Brazil!

He seemed very flat today and could not get going at all.

Really hoped he would make it to the final.

Somebody said it looked like he wasn't trying.
Also, somebody else, said his mum wasn't in the players box.
Shame, had hoped his new coach would be helpful

I have never seen Andy play like that.

The guy that beat Nadal is now out too.....very strange Wimbledon.

Andy didn't look right from the start. Serena wasn't right at weekend, never heard her so down on herself. Though folk say she was over dramatic, with a possible championship with her sister at stake, I doubt that.

Lots of young talent coming through. The big 4 won't be at top of their game forever. Just like in the days of McEnroe, Connors, Borg & Becker.

Well that's Wimbledon over for another year. I was hoping Roger Federer would win, due to absense of Andy Murray, but not to be. He did try hard though, but he was always playing catch up.

Golf next. Scottish Open just along the road from us this week. Parking chaos I fear. Signs all over the place, saying where to park. Bet that doesn't work!  :-\

I wanted Federer to win too. Football Tues and Wed then Sunday. Commonwealth games start in a few weeks, looking forward to that.

Living in Switzerland, the chances of sporting success looked rosy a few weeks ago... then the came the football (England first, then Switzerland) followed by Murray, then Wawrinka out of Wimbledon. The past weekend has topped it all off first with Mark Cavendish falling then Federer yesterday. Still, at least my Argentinian friends is happy.

:welcomemm:  Minkusmum - do you partake of any sport?  How's the weather?  Am glued to the settee watching the 3rd day of the Tour, leaving from Cambridge towards London.
