Light at the end of the tunnel

Hello  :) I've been on this forum before, a while back - at least 18 months, but honestly can't remember what username etc I used.....wonder why that is ??!!
Last time I was on here, I seem to remember saying I didn't really have any physical symptoms apart from the odd feeling a bit warm if I had a shower, followed by hairdrying.  I now realise there were loads of things I never associated with meno as they crept up on me.  They may not, of course, have been meno but nothing else has changed in the last couple of years, and they've stopped now.
Twitchy legs sometimes, sitting down or in bed.  Those little silvery bubbles you see when you bend over.  The throat thing, where swallowing feels weird.  Indigestion and general digestive problems.  The weird dreams.  Some of those were quite interesting in a where-the-h-did that-come-from way. Don't miss the endlessly-trying-to-get-somewhere ones.  Or the nightmares where you wake up with your hair standing on end.  Hair appearing in unexpected places, while the hair on my head was reduced by about half.  Sore eyes (as in moving eyes). Aching joints.  Falling asleep sitting up. I did this once in a hospital outpatients department!  And, quite a lot of the time, just feeling like you have a bit of a hangover.  Half a lager actually GIVING you a hangover!
Mentally, I feel so much better.  My brain is starting to work again, I feel calmer and much less anxious. I feel like I spent several years angry. I used to react out of all proportion to the situation, or worse still, the perceived situation.   My self esteem couldn't have been any lower.  All the joy in life had just been sucked out of me.
I'm actually looking forward to the future now, instead of feeling like it is some terrifying roller coaster with bad things around every corner, which I have no control over.

No medication, no different exercise, just gradually felt better.  And very grateful for it.
