y husband recently repainted our garden fencing too. I didn't have to help because he's a decorator
But we have loads of things climbing up the fencing and he thought I could just pull them off and put them back
I spent some time fighting with climbing roses, honeysuckle, wigelia etc.
I love walking and can walk for ever as long as its flat. But the slightest hint of a hill or steps and I'm done for. I just can't get up them without puffing and panting and my legs hurt too.
I am not fit. I don't enjoy formal exercise - it has to be something I like such as walking or gardening. But of course that's not regular daily exercise which is what I really need.
I do rather like the feeling of tiredness after a good day on the garden or allotment as it feels like "good tiredness" if you know what I mean. I don't like the aching knees the next day though!
