Me again asking for help ...!
Have any of you experienced what I can only describe as a Mexican wave of tingling all over my body. ! Usually starts at my feet and works its way up, or can radiate from my centre.
All a bit scary.
Anyone experienced this please
??
THANKYOU XX

Is it kind of itchy? Or is it an anxiety surge ………. I know when I had cold flushes on Tamoxifen they began middle of my back and worked upwards!
Also I get electric zaps which feel similar!

It sounds like anxiety to me.
Is there a particular situation that triggers it or is it random.

Hi Wombat I have been experiencing similar - I find that it generally happens just before a hot flush comes on. My hot flushes usually start with a kind of panic attack feeling or feeling sick followed by what you describe as a Mexican wave of tingling going through my body from the bottom working its way up and then comes the hot flush! Thankfully I am only getting 1or 2 a day now since I started HRT in January.

My hot flushes start that way and work their way up through my body. Not nice, but I don't find it scary, more of an "oh heck I'm having a flush". Usually resulting in me either finding coolest place to be or finding something to fan myself with.

Thanks, could well be anxiety, as I am pretty anxious at present....
Pretty random no set pattern. With this and burning mouth it's almost enough to turn me to chocolate....

You don't need an excuse for chocolate, just indulge.

Hi wombat ,I also get that horrid anxiety weird feeling just before I have a big flush but not on the small ones ,I really was in a panic about it which of course made it worse it wasn't till I mentioned it on here that I yet again realised I was not alone in feeling this so that helped me loads, now when I feel it starting I try to take deep breath and tell myself it just a flush and I will be okay and get my fan at the ready !.wish I could turn to chocolate but I get migraines great eh ,get horrid menopause symptoms and can't use it as an excuse to eat chocolate unlucky or what haha .Take care and enjoy your chocolate.

since menopause, and even on HRT, I've had all manner of mega weird tingling (etc etc)symptoms just to add to the 'joy' of it all
Try to get used to them, and try to ignore them and get on with what you are doing? The more you focus on a sensation, the worse it gets I find.
