What happened? How did your cocker have to protect you?

My lurcher would make a lot of noise and she frightens people who don't know her. She thinks our road is to be protected like the house. I was chatting to a guy I know, sitting in my car, him outside passenger window, and I had to hold her head under my arm as she was growling the whole time at him. I didn't want to tell her off too much as I want her protection, and he was leaning into the car.

twice: once was when we walked through the local town, a man there had a mobility problem which made him walk like a drunk, she hid behind me and growled loudly ...... the other time was when I was in bed with vertigo, my friend had our house key and sent her husband [who my dog knew] in to feed the cats; he said the dog was sitting half way up the stairs and he didn't like to push by her ...... once I had said 'it's OK L' she came back to bed and he was able to bring me a cup of tea .........

As for films I've seen this weekend: part of Ice Age II; all of Happy Feet; some of High Society  :-*

My all time favourite film is Some like it Hot, I've lost count how many times I've watched it  ;D

We watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation every Christmas Eve, I almost know the entire script off by heart  ::)

There are several I watch fairly regularly. Lord of the Rings trilogy, Trainspotting, Gladiator. Clueless too for some reason, even though it isn't really that great.

Good idea.

Heck this is a sad one but Xmas wouldn't be the same without Julie Andrews running up a mountain and yodelling..... ;D

Goodness, really Hasty?? - you simply must see it.   It's an absolutely wonderful film with a very powerful, true human  story, not to mention the memorable songs that are still on everybody's lips half a century later.   :)
