Hi Mary G
Yes I take the 100mg daily orally. I had a scan with the probe in my womb which I think might be the type you have and I think the water flush procedure was a camera with a view to taking a biopsy wouldn't like that one too often.
I get the aura migraine but with the headache, I believe they are called focal migraines and that's why I'm on a patch due to less risk.
Hi Hurdity
My diet is fairly good but I don't get any exercise which I know I really need to change.
I will ask the doctor about the thyroid level I never thought about that but I think they may have checked, there were around 30 things tested in the blood tests I'm not even sure what they were all for.
I've just turned 47 and haven't had a regular period for 2 years, I had a short bleed last year which they classed as a post meno bleed.
On the Utro you think that is better than Provera? I didn't experience the hair loss on the Provera but was only on it at the beginning of the hrt and even though it the Utro is described as less Androgenic I've read about medroxyprogesterone being a dht blocker which is the bit that affects the hair follicle but I may be misunderstanding that this is not the same as Provera.
Do you think that it is a hormone imbalance that is causing the hair loss and not specifically the Utro?
If you had 200mg every 12 days out of 28 would that mean a bleed each month?
I would like to say thanks for all the info to you Hurdity, Mary G and Stellajane, I have learnt a lot from you ladies over the last few days and wish I'd joined this forum a few months ago!
