Only 2 more presents to buy. None wrapped yet. Cards not written yet either. Tree and outside lights are done. It's hard work this Christmas lark.

No outside lights for me, maybe next year when bush/tree has grown a bit bigger. All indoor ones up, barring one. Cable too short & extension cable wouldn't help either. Will need to rethink that one for next year.

I keep a list on the computer of what I've ordered and where from (most important) and what's been delivered and whether it's been wrapped or not. It's the only way I can make sure I get everything and that I spend the same amount on each son!

I've been getting soooooo stressed about Christmas this year
We have a big meal with our friends for Yule (21st) - it's my turn to cook it this year and that's the bit I'm REALLY looking forward to. If I could just spend the entire holiday feeding people I would be a very happy Scampi - it's the present-buying I get stressed about. I've never been any good at 'knowing' what people would like, so I really struggle. Had a moan to my best friend about it last night, who then texted me a suggested gift list for all our friends and herself. She is my saviour - a couple of quick shopping trips and will all be done (other than Mr Scampi!!) - I'd be totally lost without her.

I'm quite excited this year, probably as first time in ages we've all managed to get together. We had everyone at New Year last year, but Christmas was only son as his GF was working and DD & family were at her partner's folks for Christmas.

Hubby finishes on Tuesday until the 6th. Although in fact he'll be working at home. No choice.
