Our Christmas will be at son & GFs. Daughter, her partner & kids coming up too. Starters are to be nibbles of pate, bread, smoked salmon. They are cooking mains & I'm making 2 desserts.
Really looking forward to it.
Son & daughter keep asking what I want, but haven't a clue. Camera would be from hubby. Need to get thinking cap on.

What I meant was I think he thinks he is to come up with an idea on his own. ;D

I don't have two kindles...I got the HD one last Xmas and sold my old one. Don't think that the new one does much different so don't want to trade up again.
I just want one thing, problem is I can't think what that one thing is. :-\

Xmas dinner for us will be a relaxed affair. Visiting will be done before hand so just the four of us for dinner. Bliss after years and years of slaving for relatives. A few years ago I refused, it caused a lot of trouble at the time and things are still awkward but I have stuck to my guns and now get to do it my way.

Still can't think of the perfect prezzie though.

Neither can I.  I don't actually want/need anything.

No, but it's nice to get something. If I leave it to hubby I will get perfume, maybe a jumper, slippers and candles. All lovely but not what I really want.

I'd like someone to book me a long weekend away in a cottage in my favourite place.

Some new friends would be nice. Not that there is anything wrong with my old friends but it would be nice to have some new blood and ideas in the mix of my life.

Apart from that, some perfume, scented candles, chocolate.............Lulu face cream.

There's a really good restaurant in the Oxford - (ish) area I have always wanted to go to.
Definitely not at Christmas, way too busy, also would need to arrange accommodation.
However another time would be good.................

I've had my first C.mas packages today - not opened though (yet)  ;)

Friend has just knocked on the door, they have just got back from Turkey and have brought me back some genuine Turkish Delight (Lokum) the question is can I resist opening it or save it for Christmas, I have already for some in from Waitrose for Christmas , on the top shelf in the kitchen so I can't reach it, but its not like the yummy stuff they have brought.

Turkish Delight and a good cup of coffee :P one for the "What soothes your soul" thread I think :)

Nothing in particular. Not very keen on Xmas.  We always have a turkey lunch with all the trimmings and its just a nice peaceful day. Its usually us 3 plus son and my Mum comes for a few days.

I often say I'd like to go away for Xmas but I've given up mentioning it now as it falls on deaf ears.

To know that our friend and his new girlfriend, currently missing in Bohol, Phillipines, are safe, hopefully their young puppy too  :-\
