Aching elbows in the morning
« on: November 06, 2013, 05:47:23 PM »

Exactly that! Why?!! This one is new on me. Had aching left hip and low back stiffness most days since started with the menopause, but now seem to get an ache in my elbow on waking.
I'm waiting for a rheumatology appointment, but pretty sure they won't find anything.
Any other sufferers? Any tips?....

lizzog it could be many things causing your elbows to ach when you wake up in the morning, I would wait and see what the happens at the Rheumatologist appointment if its to  follow up  blood tests, once you eliminate the causes then you can start treating what is making your elbows ache.

I always think you feel more in control once you know what you are dealing with.

Acing left hip and back stiffness can have a lot of causes too, and can be hard to resolve and might just have to be managed, once you have been through the NHS protocol.

I have pains in my legs/thighs every night.  It is so severe that I wake screaming silently.  Low back pain in the background.  Have begun altering how I sit/sleep/walk .......... not troublesome during the day  :-\
