Hi  Bev-  well Dame Shirley Bassey has had a brighter day today :) she woke up and felt like getting dressed and then went with hubby to do the weekly food shop plus a bit of Christmas shopping too, and apart from a few low moments, wasn't too bad- as she was on a roll she went for a coffee as  well and enjoyed it :)
She has come home feeling rather tired but very pleased with herself :)   How are you doing and how are the pups?  I should know shouldn't I, as I am one of them!  The weather here is frosty too and very cold-DSBXX

Sounds like a very good day then, how on earth did you do Christmas as well!!! I am so impressed. I bet you are really chufffed with yourself.  I think wine is in order tonight & see what tomorrow brings. You have also put 18g on today so all in all you are on the up in more ways than one ;D

Glad you are feeling a bit better Mags. Gin & Tonic gives you an appetite.  :)

The road to recovery is very up and down Mags. On the good days try and eat more because when you don't eat it makes you feel worse. I used to struggle to eat one rich tea biscuit.
Do you take vitamins or use the rescue remedy?

Hi Littleminnie - I know it is going to be very up and down,  I don't take vitamins but am trying a tonic called metatone that a dr once recommended-  I have tried the  rescue remedy but it doesn't seem to touch my anxiety.    Thanks so much fo your support and hope you are doing ok-Love Mags :) :)

Vitamin B6 is a mood lifter. It takes about an week before it kicks in.
A doctor recommended Oravite sachets as a good vitamin mix and it helps with the appetite.  Tonic water contains quinine which stimulates the appetite (even better with the gin, lol).
I hope the day improves for you. X

Mags- pleased you had a better day yesterday. :)
Littleminnie is right when she says the road to recovery is up and down.

Bev- I returned to work last Tuesday.Felt a bit strange at first but got through.
I'm feeling a lot better now,although feeling vulnerable,so I'm being cautious.
Don't want to rock the boat as I'm not 100% yet!
Can't be too bad though cos I wrapped all my Chrissy presses yesterday. ::)
Little dachshunds- Aaaaaah! Lovely.
Wish I could see them.

There you go Dyan I have changed my profile pic from another of my dogs to the pups & mum. Mags is at the bottom. ;D  Well done on returning to work its nice to feel 'normal' again I bet. As for wrapping your Christmas presents that is amazing!! I am normally so organised by now being rather anal about everything but this year will be different, I am no longer super woman (unlike you!!!)  Bev x
