Never watched this until tonight but did so to see what all the hype is about. What a disappointment. Some pretzels which looked like something from my dog's rear end. 3 truly awful, clumsy wedding cakes and some picnic baskets which were marginally better.
I like cooking and I'm sure I could do better stuff than this. Maybe I'll enter next time.

This week did not really show what they have done over the past ten weeks and they have been brilliant.
Did not know you were a keen baker PF. Be a great competition to enter.

I love baking, love TGBO, but there is NO WAY I would enter!! I bake what I like in the way my family and I like it, and that doesn't always fit with WI standards!! One contestant, earlier this series, was heavily criticised for never having tasted the fruit pie he presented to the judges - he hated fruit pies (as do I!). Great fun to watch, but not something I would want to take part in.

I was, she was the one who had improved the most and her attention to detail was amazing.
I have to admit that Ruby really got on my nerves. She was like a moody teen. I can see that at home and don't really want to see it on TV

Here here Honeybun - she's got on my nerves since Week One!! And they way they all pussy-footed around her like she was some delicate little flower - yuck!! I wanted someone to tell her to stop acting or leave (I didn't believe the "I think I'm rubbish" and "I'm so stressed" act for a minute - if you are as badly affected by self-doubt and nerves as all that, why would you put yourself through something like Bake Off, and how would you get through the un-televised stages anyway?!!). And did you catch those death stares she was throwing when she thought the cameras weren't on her?

It was in one of the papers, that the judge ( just can't think of his name ) had taken quite a 'fancy' to Ruby......?
Yes she got on my nerves too....sulky puss !

Paul Hollywood ........ who recently parted from his wife but was quoted in the paper as 'never say never' when asked if he is likely to return to her
I liked the white wedding cake particularly the 'quilted' effect but felt it could have looked rather grey in photos.

I definetly didn't want Ruby to win.
She was so depressing and such a negative person
I chose Kimberley only because I didn't think Frances would win because she was brilliant at presentation but not so with her flavours.
I was really pleased that she did though
