Hi,
Im writing to see if anyone can give any advice. Last week i went dancing i managed two hours then really overheated, heart racing felt pretty unwell and took quite some time to feel right again. Today i went for 3 mile walk in lovely sunny weather was only a pretty slow walk, but again overheated same feelings. S

Do you normally take plenty of exercise? Are you peri/post meno? Are you getting hot flushes, night sweats etc ? Are you on HRT?
If you are a physically active person and these episodes are extreme then you should see your doctor for a check up. Keep us posted.

Hi
ARe you peri or post menopausal? Do you still have periods?
There are other medical reasons for overheating so maybe a chat with GP would be a good idea.
Look through the menus on the left of this screen and you may get some answers.

:welcomemm:  maybe you are not hydrated?  Do you drink plenty before your exercise as well as during and after?

Is this a sudden heat wave where you live or the usual type of seasonal weather?  Is there a Gym where you could get advice?  or your GP as suggested.

Being suddenly hot can be hormonal and when it happened to me, usually in a theatre/shopping mall/Church/Museum I would feel nauseous and very light headed  :-\
