Progesterone Hell
« on: July 21, 2013, 07:27:36 AM »

Hi ladies
I've just changed onto femseven sequi from evorel sequi, I always feel ok until I start the progesterone phase. I'm 4 days into the prog phase and I am already feeling sick, upset tummy, feeling anxious and generally low, this is the fourth type of hrt I have tried in 9 months, any advice to help manage these symptoms?
Thanks
Shellb

Oh poor you!  If you do a search for the product you will find threads with regards types of Progesterone and side effects.

I have the same problem with progesterone unfortunately. I haven't found anything which will alleviate the stomach problems, bloating and bad temperedness but some women have had success with Utrogestan. I haven't been able to try it as it has a high soya content and I am "sensitive" to soya products but it might work for you. I still feel better on HRT than I did off it - well for two weeks of the month anyway!

There is a thread running on it http://www.menopausematters.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,22183.0/topicseen.html
