I met her in Manchester in the eighties in my cabin crew days....was in the same hotel.    The Nolan's were the warm up for rod Stewart.  He was there too, staying in the same hotel, holding court in the bar after and  was an absolute arse.  Bernie stood out as a gorgeous, funny blonde, she sang songs and was the life and soul of the party.  May she rest in peace x

I read her interview with a newspaper not long ago, where she described telling her children about it - so sad.  Lovely lady.
