Buy some kaftan cloaks, no one will notice any 'extra' ;-).  Walking round the decks will get rid of the rest ........

On second thoughts, the kaftan sounds like a better idea!  ;D
And, anyway, OH says he likes my wobbly bits

It was leftover turkey with gravy and mash tonight (and a teeny weeny bit lemon meringue pie)  ;)

DH's brother has bought an air fryer - so now we apparently need 1  ::).  I've thought about it for a few months without making mention ........ do any of U find them useful?  Currently we have a usual oven with 4 shelves, separate grill, bread maker, pizza pan ............

Watching Michael Mosley checking what we put in our supermarket trollies:

We both eat:

weekly; spuds, yam, leeks, peppers, grapes, bananas, garlic
occasionally; broccoli, cauliflower

Himself eats every week: pears, apples, dried figs, fish, onion.  Occasionally fresh pineapple.
Cheese
Eggs once a week usually scrambled

He begins each day with porridge with dried fruits
I have a muesli - both use milk

I eat: fish fingers once a week with mashed yam/butter
Marmiet on white toast occasionally
Pizza occasionally
Pate and ham for lunch with a brown bread roll occasionally

I suppose we could add cabbage, carrots and kiwis.  We don't fancy kale  :-\  ::)

We both eat chutneys

I had a mushroom & courgette risotto last night but every week day I make salads and make my own dressings with very posh olive oil  ;D

Oh - how do U serve chickpeas, from a can drained or do you steep overnight then cook gently?   DH makes good looking salads ........ and I love oil drizzled over.

What colour is the kaftan, remind me  ;D

Why, tartan of course CLKD (with a Union Jack 🇬🇧 at the back). Did I ever say that I intensely dislike the “Nasty party”? I digress - sorry  ;D

We likes a meander we does   R U entitled to wear a tartan ?   I did the Highland Fling over swords many years ago, there were 4 of us and I can't remember the others  :-\.  Oh that kilt was scratchy  :(.  DH's Gt Uncle was in a Scots regiment and they wore the kilts, using them as blankets in the night.  It's the sodden hem lines that caused problems on the legs  :o  :-\

Don't know what's on the menu for later, DH is experimenting with the dry air fryer cooker thingy ......... successfully thus far.

Yep. I have me own tartan CLKD  ;)
My paternal grandmother and aunt were both kiltmakers and, between them, made the kilts for the National rugby team (for their trips abroad). That was their claim to fame  ;D
I quite fancy one of those air fryers actually 🤔
