Going to attempt BBQing salmon burgers again. Last week's try was a disaster. It stuck to the grill even though I oiled it.  Maybe the temp was too high because I was cooking beef burgers at the same time.

The salmon is to be cooked from frozen, if it was a fresh filet, I'd wrap it in foil..with a little lemon, butter and dill.

Gotta have the grill marks!

DH cooks from frozen.  Once cooked one can flip it onto the grill to get those marks or put it onto the grill B4 wrapping?  Saves it sticking.  That's why I don't like BarBQ because it makes more mess than necessary     I don't like fish much either

When I see chips, I know them as potato chips (crisps to you guys). The only time we refer to "chips"  like that is in fish and chips, otherwise, they're fries

In the 1960s we were able to buy 'popsicles' - a tube of iced, flavoured water.  To suck on a hot day, bliss.

Tiptops we call them. My brothers 1st job after he’d left school was in the tiptop factory. 
He’d bring home boxes of them.
We distributed them all out to our friends. 

Not sure you can still get them nowadays. 🤷🏼‍♀️
