A meal that doesn’t require water! We’ve been without water for about 5 hours so far. Went to the nearest town to buy water bottles and passed the water board vans and thought that looked encouraging, but no water several hours on.  DH is off again to a little supermarket in another town that will be open to buy more water and milk as yours truly forgot to buy milk. I’m in the doghouse! No towels as they are sitting soggily in the washing machine, but let me see…….no water….no showers!  ;D

DH cooked chicken coujons (sp) last night so will eat cold with left over new potatoes and he's gently steaming some freshly picked French and runner beans.  To be eaten on a plate in the cool on our patio  :-*

Made a vegetable fricasee and sausages. Then I excelled myself and made a Mango Eton Mess and very delicious it was too.

Ooh that sounds lovely, Penny...very "Nigella'esque!"....
We had what I like to call "itsy bitsies" (a little mix up of things) - hubby made pate and mediterranean bread, we had good old fashioned prawn cocktail and a  lovely goats cheese, pomegranate and walnut salad - yummy

I'm cooking pan fried halibut with rigatoni in a spicy, creamy tomato sauce 😋.  Then my home made tiramisu. Scrumdiddlyumptious...

A positive reply from me for anyone watching. ;) ::::  U won't make me jealous    apparently it's to be either stir fried chicken with veg./ginger/garlic or pan fried veg with grilled chicken breasts  <goes away whistling>

i cooked fish tonight with cherry tomatoes and oven chips.  Had run out of new potatoes so had to make do.
I made a mango eton mess for dessert with mango couli. This summer’s favourite dessert recipe.
