Home alone tonight - making myself a curry  :)

Edit:  it was lovely!  Slimming World recipe - all of 2 Syns.  It was a Burmese lamb curry, and I had it with rice and stir-fried cumin and coriander cauli.  Left-overs for lunch today  :)

Oh I love lamb curry, and the cauli sounds absolutely delicious!

Home made burgers and spicy wedges tonight with a big mixed salad, was in the mood and ran up some chilli mayo too. Made a batch of pear, pecan and ginger muffins so might even sneak one of those later.  :boobs:

Comfort food tonight - shredded cured smoked pork loin, parmesan, broccoli, cauli, spinach and petit pois pasta bake. Yum!

Was it good?  We had Cornish pasties with home grown asparagus on the side ;-).

Yes delicious, even if I say so myself  ;) A wonderful mix of flavours and textures loaded with cayenne and freshly grated nutmeg. Small portion left for lunch tomorrow. Comfort food always hits the spot doesn't it?!

Love Cornish pasties but I very rarely make or eat them. It's one of my seasonal saves for Cornish visits!

Nothing at all!  Took frozen currys out of freezer after busy day at work only to discover the instruction: "defrost for 12 hours prior to cooking"!  Amazing takeaway with mega calories courtesy of husband.
