Cottage pie, with turnip ( swede) and carrot cheesy mash and beetroot for me, baked beans for himself- miss baked beans but even the low sugar ones spike my blood sugars and don't think Percy the stoma would like them much either.

black bean and vegetarian sausage casserole.

Made a crumble for tomorrow as we are expecting lunch guests but we don't normally eat pudding ourselves

Very slow-braised chicken with celeriac and lemon (bottom recipe). I do like Yotam Ottolenghi's food but sometimes the ingredient list for his recipes borders on the ridiculous, this is manageable! I have a larder bursting with little used ingredients!
