Hi jubilee
I had a quick look at the link - it's an American site and there is a different healthcare system over there - and everything has to be paid for unlike here - free at the point of care or similar.
Personally I don't see the point of using DHEA - it is a precursor of tesotsterone and oestrogen in the body and it is not possible to determine which it will be converted to.
As Taz says some women need both HRT
and vaginal oestrogen to keep things healthy and stop the pain. I use HRT ( patches), together with a vaginal oestrogen (Orthogynest pessaries) and also sometimes I rub on oestrogen cream (Gynest) for a few days when it gets a bit sore.
Look at the menu on the left and you can defo use Gynest cream with Vagifem as it is oestriol which is very weak.
http://www.menopausematters.co.uk/local.phpAlso I agree with Suzi Q you shouldn't have to suffer just because intimacy not happening - there are all sorts of other problems eg with bladder, infections etc that happen when the oestrogen doesn't work so well and skin and tissues thin out.
Can you find a doc in your practice who specialises in meno/gynae/women's issues?
