Does anyone remember St Elsewhere? I've found it on 4oD. Been watching a few. I loved it first time round and it hasn't lost it's appeal  :D

Enjoyed Call the Midwife on Sunday.

Third series of Miranda just not funny.  Shame cos the first two were hilarious, to me anyway.

Anyone been watching The Hotel?  I swear they are told what to do and say. Nobody can be as stupid as that manager and stay in business!  As for the Events Manager, words fail me.

We have been watching the Hotel, and at first we thought it was very good, but as you say  'the manager, who's name escapes me ' is so stupid it's unbelievable .......and in fact he has left now.....
Take a look at the reviews on Trip Adviser.......arrrrr just remembered its Mark....felt sorry for him at first, then just angry...... ::)

Trip Adviser should be taken with a pinch of salt.  The reports on the web-site are often set up to annoy .........  :-\

Julian Fellowes is on at 9.00 p.m.  :-*

I agree that some of the reviews on Trip advisor could be set up, but not all ,as I have written reviews myself.......We had a very bad experience at a hotel once and a friend suggested that we take a look at Trip advisor before booking another holiday......We have never had a bad experience since, and when we come home I usually write a review on Trip Advisor.
I have no idea why Mark left "The Hotel" , but he has gone, along with other members of the staff.

The ones who moan about the slightest thing On trip advisor I take with a pinch of salt. Most are fair reviews, certainly of the places we have been to.

I agree with you cubagirl. What people want to know  for example......is it clean ,is it comfortable, is the food up to standard etc.......Not for example, do the coat hangers match.....I would think we all just want value for money, and if we want a sea view or tea facilities in our room, that's what we should get.
So if you are happy with everything, then it's nice to let others know.
If something isn't right when you arrive, then be fair and let the owners try to put things right.

The programme about the people rescuing roos in the Outback?  Those without mothers ......... however, once released into a large compound there was the worry about bush fires killing them all.  Hey ho, if they were released into the wild they would probably become roo burgers as parts of Oz are culling them.  They were cute though  :-*  ;)

Oh I know what you mean. My hubby usually takes himself off to his computer around about 8 most nights, so I could blub to myself.  :'(
