Deadwood - as long as you don't mind bad language, sex and violence! Great script and story-lines, brilliant acting and anti-heroes who you can't help rooting for.

I'm sick of hearing about Jimmy Savile on the news, I know it's a shame for the victims but they should have come forward when he was still alive.

Bette, I love the Sopranos.  Watched the whole series, but according to DD there is more on the boxed DVD version after the final series, but it's not been shown on TV.    Will have to get the DVD from her to see what happened next.

As for Mr Saville, I agree, however what is more annoying is the fact that many people saw this happening and didn't do a thing about it.

Just watched another 2 episodes Jane, you're right I have fallen in love with Michael! 
He's absolutely gorgeous, I could eat him!

Complaints were made about Mr S but not taken any further by the police.  Also there was a different culture back in the 70s and 80s, attitudes have changed a great deal in the past few decades.  I was groped at work, didnt think to report it.  Why would you?  Nobody would have taken it seriously.

I am totally hooked on Dallas - anyway else watching it? There are so many twists and turns its keeping me hooked. Xxx

Yes catweazle, Lincoln was lovely too in a rugged way. And yes hot & spicy, 'Michael' has let himself go in real life, disappointing. But you will get more and more hooked as you go through the series.  The end of the final series will have you sobbing uncontrollably and smiling at the same time. At the height of my viewing i watched 6 episodes back to back and gave myself terrible eye strain!
