Realising that I still have four more days of annual leave

I always look forward to the clocks going forward at the end of March - not till 31st this year.  THen lovely light evenings - yippee   
Also,  we had my step daughters with us for Easter last year - I don't get on well with them - they are VERY high maintenance teenagers (or at least I think they are, compared with what my biological daughters were like 10-15 years ago).   My husband is always running them around entertaining them - what happened to going out with your mates? 
Sorry, I digress - I am looking forward to Easter because husband and I will be alone - ah! peace and quiet - lovely!

Seeing my son come through the arrival gate at Heathrow - does it for me every time!

Trees in leaf. 
Sitting outside in the sunshine, listening to birdsong with a coffee (decaff) 
Smell of fresh bedlinen blown dry on the line. 
Cloudspotting at the seaside followed by fish and chip supper. 
Seabreezes.
Listening to summer rain fall on the roof with the doors open. 
Chocolate...anytime.
Classic fm..all day long.

Blossom - I love seeing blossom- especially pink. Been a long wait but starting to see some now. Sadly won't last long in these gales
