Don't think I will get to Italy but it's been fun - ish - planning  :-\

Maybe a short hop to Bruges instead.

What a shame CLKD but Bruges is beautiful too - and all that chocolate ;)  Mrs P, that looks gorgeous.

We've just booked a fortnight in Fuerteventura in September - we went last year and loved it so decided to have two weeks there this year - might be the only sun we see..... ::)

Mrs P that looks lovely.  We've been looking at the Lake District for 2013, but not sure yet.  Time will tell.

Mrs P
What a loveable and cute dog.
Used to have 2 cats - they had a long and happy life but haven't had any pets since. My OH & daughter are trying to persuade me to get a dog. Can't see it happening as don't think it would be fair if we are out at work all day. Could be persuaded if my OH takes early retirement and it was a wee cute dog and not a massive hound.
Love the look of the holiday home and in such a beautiful location.

You're so lucky beaglelady, I would love to go to Canada. I've always wanted to since I was in my twenties when my brother went there. The photos were gorgeous.  :)

he's proper cute Mrs P.
We always take our boy. Think I would miss the beach walks with him, but I agree with what you say in that it restricts you having a dog with you.

Long night flights home are the worst thing ever.

You could fly first class then you get a seat that folds into a bed and you can sleep ...........
