I wish it would cool down just for a day or two.  I'm suffering with the heat this time for some reason.  Have lowered my oestrogen, only a bit, whether it's that  :'(

Yes it must be the hormone change, hopefully it will settle.  I've also got cold on and off this evening and now sat here at midnight, muggy again!

I was cold in the early hours so pulled the blanket over me.  Then a storm arrived: apparently - never heard a thing until a neighbour revved his sports car at 6.15 a.m.  >:(

Crashing rain, crashing grey = crashing mood :(

The forecast for the rest of the week is better - I really do hope it delivers.  IT'S JUNE!!!

So we decided, on the hottest day yet - 28 in the car  :o - to go for a drive  ::).  We found a small cafe that sells crepes: mine was filled with Black Forest Gateaux covered in chocolate chips and two large dollops of ice cream  8).  I think that size is for sharing  ;D  :-X

Now home, cuppa to hand, all windows opened.

It was sunny with some clouds this morning but it's starting to cloud over a bit now, might rain later this afternoon. I hope we get enough to water the lawn.

Cooler yesterday.  Sat out several times until the humidity levels rose.  I put the hose round where necessary at 9.30 p.m.

Blue sky and cool breeze this morning.

Oh yeah, it gets pretty muggy in the summer. In fact, we've had a few days of muggy temps and pop up thunderstorms. We just had a doozy pass through a couple of hours ago. Mags was not impressed.

Oh poor Maggie.
Our beautiful border collie was terrified of storms. We lost her many years ago but we still react to thunder on her behalf!

We used to try to ignore the noise, if we panic then she panicked more, as she was looking to us for reassurance and confidence. Not easy when I was so soft I wanted to just cuddle her and she was scared😂

Could do with some rain though... Garden looks dreadful. But then  I will moan it's raining and I can't outside to work!

The government has said it is prepared for a "range of scenarios" following reports that Thames Water could be on the brink of collapse.

Ministers declined to comment on the company's situation, but said regulator Ofwat monitored "the financial position" of all water firms.

Thames Water is under pressure over its performance and reportedly struggling under £14bn of debt.
