Lol, yes I've used that expression many times  ;D

The weather today is bright sunshine,  cool temps, and a bit of a breeze.  Pretty nice for a late November day.  All the snow we got last Sunday has completely melted!  :clapping:

We are getting a second blast of winter today, so far we have about 4 inches of snow on the ground and more to come.  Happy December...not! ;D

 ;D .. I have a fur muff from the 1920 which needs a cord so that I can hang it correctly.  It's not very warm inside, being layered with silk which I can't bear the feel of  ;D.  I have a poncho too but it's a phaff to wear as there's no ribbon to tie it with, ideal for chilly nights until the burner heats through.

As my late Dad would say 'raw'  :o.  Did anyone suffer thunderstorms with snow in t he early hours, apparently around Edinburgh?

Supposed to improve next week ..... but if it's like C-19 info from Boris, next week will be a moveable experience  ::)

Feel warmer now that the curtains are closed and the burner glowing  ;D
