Bitterly cold today and it's just started snowing again.
Forecast to get worse tomorrow and Friday.

-10 is balmy  ;D. When 'Wales was cut off' it went down to -24!  No electric for a week.  We had a strip light and car battery so had light, can't remember why we had a car battery in the house  ::) ........ but it worked.

Definately worse today still snowing here.I can see traffic from windows though so roads can't be too bad and our schools are still open.another home day for me I get stir crazy if I have 2 or 3 home days in a row 🤪

7 inches for me, snow day as my work place is closed!
I don't like the snow should I think it should be kept to ski slopes and Christmas cards 😂

Snow is lovely: viewed from a sun terrace whilst looking up at the Pyrenees!

Coldest day so far I've never experienced a wind as cold as it is today temp has not got above freezing all day. Snow flurries on and off all day but it is now snowing very hard and per the forecast will continue until mid morning tomorrow fingers crossed it doesn't get as bad as they are predicting.

Many years ago: 199-something or other: we took our  :scottie: for a walk.  We had two layers of everything on, even hats and gloves!  It was FREEZING but blue sky and dry.  Slippery under foot.  We had a photo somewhere of me and the dog sitting in front of a fountain ...... she was young and didn't seem to feel the cold, never said 'no' to a walk unless she could smell rain  8)

This cold is nowt like it was that Sunday/Monday. Can't remember which month.  Probably into the New Year.  Now it's that soft snow which is sticking dusk arrives.

Yay - we had snow at last! Lovely! Swirling and cold as storm Emma arrives. Went for a fantastic snowy walk in our wild woods along deserted lanes with out neighbours. Absolutely fabulous. Now we expect another 18 hours of it here I think! Roads are deserted now as we become snowed in :). All is quiet.....
