Awful,  the wind sounds like an express train and the thunder is so loud.

Think most of the pictures are from just down the coast. Going to have a wee look later although I think the worst of it is over now.
It's much calmer.

Wasn't too bad overnight - actually got a good nights sleep.
However, wind really getting up now - combined with a temperature of 3° - pleasant it ain't.

Woke up at 3.00am due to wind howling across the chimney, making wooooo noises! ::)
Now it is sunny  8), rainy and windy all at the same time ;D

We are missing the worst of it in the north east. Odd rain shower rattling through & quite breezy. Nothing unusual for us.

Well I thought it was passing over this morning...ummm wrong.

It continues to blow and we have thunder off and on. Really odd though, one flash of lightening and one enormous crack of thunder and then it clears.

Hubby and I went wave watching at high tide. WOW, I have lived on this coast all my life and I have never ever seen anything like it. The waves must have been 30 foot high in places. We had to park well away and just gaze in amazement. Brilliant but very scary.

Oh they were. We tried to take some photos but apart from getting blown off our feet the camera and the phone were covered in salt in seconds.
My windows are a real mess  :o
