Been raining heavily all day.
Had a lightening strike on or near house.
Winds now very, building damaging potential, strong. Beaufort strength 8 estimated.

Yesterday back of house was hammered by wind & rain, today it's the front. I'm not going out today. Told hubby, so if he wants his paper, he can go! .

Here today it's brighter, less windy but still blowy.
It's alternating between torrential rain and dry, I believe the expression is showers   ::)

It blew a gale last night, rain hammered the house.  Even so fireworks were being let off  >:(
This morning it is blustery, blue sky but lots of grey  :(
