I can't see the weather... it's dark... already....    ..

Roll on the morning so I can see if it's going to be  again .......

It's ok I do love the sun this time of year CLKD - I like it rainy or cold or dull or sunny just as long as it is Autumn or Winter and the days are nice and short. This morning I watched the day begin and then tonight I watched the day finish - it sort of rounds things off nicely being awake for both.

Its still  warm and sunny here and no heating on and windows open, but DM says by the weekend it will be colder then St Petersburg

Cold here today, sunshine and then very heavy showers. The wind is blowing hard too. The sea is rough today with lots of white topped waves.

In the past half-hour the weather has changed, complete overcast, a strong wind and rain and the temperature has plummeted.

It's got really cold tonight. The heating has gone on. That's the first time it's been on before 7pm.

Think it's going to go back on its timer now so the house is warmer in the morning. Autumn has finally arrived. Role on summer.  Sorry Taz.

Dreadful weather here today (London). I can't face months of this 
New boiler is going to have to perform well!

Don't worry oldsheep - I managed to survive the long, hot summer and have now come out the other side and am basking in this lovely, wet tempestuous Autumn weather. You too will survive and live to see Spring and Summer weather again.. but don't bring it on too quickly please.

Really cold here first thing. Unlike HB my heating has been on well before 7pm most days. Now it's a bit brighter.

Very cold this morning but bright and sunny. Managed to get the kitchen door open first thing but I was frozen from my feet to my knees.
I think there was a little frost last night.
I don't mind true autumn days it's the grey skies that get me down. Bright and crisp is lovely.
Autumn sun sits lower in the sky and makes the islands on our coast line so very clear. The nearest is a few minutes away by ferry the furthest 50 mins. In the autumn light they are so close. I can see all the little villages that you can't see in the summer.
The local saying is if you can't see an island it's raining and if you can it's about to rain.
