Cooler here today, nicely so, 17C in car port.
Some clouds with a pleasant cooling breeze.
Managed full walk this morning.

It's OK getting to within 20 miles of any coast but on busy days everyone and his dog wants to be there first

Cooler this morning but back to hot as anything now.

Large lawn and big driveway so all welcome and I will show everyone the best paddling spots. Nothing like it for hot feet.

Cornwall is beautiful. The last time we were there we went to the Minach (sp)
Theatre.

We are inclined to stay away from the busy spots at the beach in this weather, just too many visitors. We have a little allotment which is right on the beach, so it's dig a bit and paddle a bit. Great in this weather but not so clever when the wind is howling in and blowing every thing away.


Still hot here and cooking now so the kitchen is roasting.

Did you have spuds and peas with your roasted kitchen 

Cooler here though promises to be the hottest yet 
Sky is hazy ...... DH is pruning the grape vine which is threatening to take over the patio 
I have the 1st load of washing out ............ will tackle the kitchen before it gets any warmer as the sun shines right in!

Over 30° already and it's forecast for 37° today ..... it's already been 39.5° once this week and we don't want it that hot again, so exhausting.  Now we need rain - even the water in the pool is evaporating and going murky and green so taking a lot of work keeping it clean ... my OH does this.

Dark dark clouds came over around 11.30 pm last night and huge flashes of lightning and rumblings of thunder which continued after I went to bed - and what joy - I could hear steady rain for around 5 minutes! The garden looks well perked up this morning. However now hotter than ever and still bright sunshine!!

Hot here but very hazy and the air is heavy, it feels as if something is building up, wouldn't be suprized if we do have a storm.

after the grey skys and cooler weather over the last 2 days the heat is back  25 this afternoon and sun shining, the forecast was for thunderstorms and rain 
Probably be too hot tonight again, but shouldn't moan as we can't have it all can we

Very warm and humid here.

I love a good thunderstorm. My mum was/is terrified and wonders why her dog is the same 
My dad obviously did not want me to be the same so encouraged me to watch and count. Still do the same.

If it rains now, I am having an outside soak.....bliss.

If you get a thunderstorm you should get great view over the water HB. My mum said best storm she ever saw was over the island of Arran. Quite spectacular by all accounts. I love watching, but not keen in being out in them. We saw an amazing one in Florida 2 years ago. Night before we left. It was spectacular! We got to shelter with seconds to spare. Daughter, her partner & granddaughter were at Epcot. He got an amazing photo of lightning strike which adorns their hall.
