That's a shame honeyb .... Where do you live?
My son just sent me a pic of thermometer on his window sill and its reading 38c. he hates hot weather ....... We always say that's because he was a winter baby ... He's a Capricorn.

I sympathise with your son Penny - there are a lot of us winter lovers about - we even have our own Facebook group apparently!!

Very hot here - husband has been sanding down the outside window frames but had to give up when he sun crept round. They are looking good. He is a perfectionist and it takes soooooo long but does look good at the end of it.

Indeed I do. West Coast....very pretty but s##e weather. We have a sort of mini music festival taking place in the country park next to where we live. The town is full of festival goers....flowers in the hair (and that's the boys). They will not roast but they will be eaten alive by the famous Scottish midges. They are just flying teeth.
We can hear the music from here. Sounds like fun. My two might sneak in later.
The town is also crawling with police. There is never any trouble so why there is the need for vans full of them heaven only knows. Let the kids have some fun.

Hope the weather picks up tomorrow.

My car thermometer was on 27C after my dog walk this morning. It's 30C in York where son lives. He will be lying in a darkened room no doubt.
