Woke to a completely calm morning with blue sky.  Mid-Morning the sky blackened up and there's now a breeze.  Sun is warm  :-*

It's Labour Day weekend here so I've been sleeping in, but not this morning! About 4 am we were hit with a wicked thunderstorm with very high winds, lots of thunder and lightning and torrential rain. I ususally have the bedroom window at night open for fresh air (helps me sleep) but with all the noise and the light show I had to get up and close it. 
It's almost 9 am now and the storm system has long moved off but it's still cloudy and pretty windy. We are due to get more rain in a couple of hours and later this afternoon. 

Good day to clean the house as I doubt I'll be doing anything outdoors. :)

Did the wind pass ?  ;)

Started off bright enough but turned windy with drizzle by 3.30 so home with lights on in the lounge: not cold but it is dark inside  >:(

When we left home this morning it was rain, rained all the way to Swindon. In Sussex its cloudy, I’m here for the week I hope it stays dry  :)

Dull.  Dull.  Dull.

Haven't been to Ardingly as we don't like the fact that many of the stallholders leave on the 1st evening or are packing up on the 2nd day by 11.30 but the charge remains the same  :-\.

Kind of miserable, a taste of fall today.  Cloudy and below normal for this time of year, struggled to get up to 20C and threatened rain all day.
