About 8 degrees cooler, I should think, Jeaniewigs. To digress - my journey back up north was not what I expected, to say the least! The train got as far as Berwick, then we were informed that there was a broken-down train up the line and that there was a queue of four trains waiting for it to clear. It took ages to start moving again and when we did, the driver fairly hurtled along. But then, somewhere between Berwick and Dunbar, we encountered a signal failure which they couldn't get to the bottom of, so we sat there and we sat there, and eventually were allowed to continue, with the driver being talked through the journey between Dunbar and Edinburgh because apparently the signals were still down. We should have got into Edinburgh just after 7pm. Instead we limped in some time after 10pm! But, clouds and silver linings - it was a lot cooler than down south.
