Bitterly cold here snow flurries all day but fortunately it hasn't stuck so far (fingers crossed) don't fancy having to dig the car out and the drive to work in the snow.
We out with DH late morning and the wind was artic haven't ventured out since then but the sky is very dark and ominous looking.

Yes same here didn't seem so cold today,it's staying lighter that wee bit later now it's still bright but greyish looking, three more weeks should see a huge difference and days won't seem so dismal.xx

Snowed until 10.30 then the sun came out the temp rose and it was dare I say it quite warm by and the snow started to thaw. 1pm sun disappeared sky turned black and it started snowing again stopped at about 3pm but it has remained bitterly cold. Hope that's the last of it but somehow I doubt it.

At 7.30am this morning our outside thermometer read -10.4. Yes, that is a minus number. I'm sure some of the ladies up in Scotland will not find that a surprising temperature but this is West Kent!!. My sister, who lives just under the North Downs has more snow than us. Around 2 feet on their drive.
Crazy weather

Left London Monday lunchtime in the snow. All trains offering your ticket for any train on your route to get people home. Euston station much busier than usual for a Monday lunchtime. Got back to The Lakes in beautiful sunshine but since then in has snowed off and on and now we have a lot of the white stuff and it is bitterly cold. The hills from our lounge window do look beautiful though

About 10 flakes of snow yesterday, it looked like white feathers floating around otherwise sunny but bitter. The weather forecast says we might get snow tomorrow and Friday
