Freezing and thick snow here and worried about driving 10 miles around country lanes 7am tomorrow for work

That would worry me too Annie0710.  Must you go? Would your employer be sympathetic?

I think she would, given the circumstances and that I am reliable.  I'd planned to go to my daughters today who lives the same way as my job and she pleaded with me not to do it because of the treacherous conditions.  I will give it a go in the morning but won't carry on if I'm too scared or too snowed in .  It doesn't help that it'll be dark and there's ditches galore and trees x

Monday's are really busy at work .  I start at 8, skip lunch and finish at 5pm.  I'd never get my payroll done if I went in that late Hasty x

-1 now and going down to -12 tonight. Not good. Back definitely suffering in this cold weather

I did the drive and got in for 7.45
If I can get through tomorrow's journey I'll be relieved as temperatures should improve Wednesday x

people moaning about it being -12 later, well when Wales was cut off it went down to -24C! and we survived.  Put more layers on. We lost electricity for almost a week.

Lovely sunshine in the afternoon. Snow looks lovely under the streetlights.

Cold, wet, sleety bleuurrrhhhhhhhhhh

-3 in the car earlier.  Clouding up now.  Our road is completely iced up and crunchy.  Main roads passable.  Some supermarkets have cleared their car parks, others haven't  .


It can be -??? without being stuck, we walked everywhere that Winter.  I think that snow is best on C.mas cards or on the top of the Pyrenees  .  Himself has gone out 'in it' again as he needs a plumbing 'bit' ........ Hopefully that cloud won't be more snow !
