Dropped him at uni last Monday and he took off for France on Wednesday. You're only young once! First lecture tomorrow I think.

Lovely day today, in fact it's been lovely since Sunday. Just a pity we have had to wait till now to get some settled weather.
Blooming cold over night though.....it's definitely autumn temperatures at night.

A lovely autumnal start to the day. Early sunshine with mist and now clearing to warm, bright morning, makes me think of the Keats poem we learnt at school- 'season of mists and mellow fruitfulness' etc.
