"bright enough" - I think our 3 shared a brain cell  ::) - However: when DH put a gate between the kitchen door and the garden where they were running free, they hopped onto the fence and shuffled along until they could 'fly' into the kitchen  ;D - I am sure they were  :na: …. at

CLKD love that you have chickens ,we had 3 as we live in large town only smallish garden, I loved spending time with them out in the garden ,they each had their own personality, but unfortunately we decided to get rid of them as one night we caught a Fox trying to get in at them and I couldn't bear the thought of getting up one morning to find something horrible had happened to them ! Short of sitting up all night didn't want to take the risk but I do miss my gals ! X

Our neighbours had fox attacks but ours were at the bottom of the garden and there was 2" wire under ground and over the run.  I know our Girls were lucky.

Yesterday was lovely - today it's pouring  ::) - haven't been out the door yet …...

It was 11 in our car last night.  Not cold today, there's been a break of 40 mins. before storms but sky is black again!
