CLKD - Chance would be a fine thing.
Remember, OH is still not right after his heart thing.
I'me glad we'll be away - if we stayed here chances are he'd be on the roof fixing whatever had come off.

In the B&B you'll get breakfast cooked?

Dark grey skies and pouring rain this morning, and late morning the skies cleared amidst beautiful rainbows and blue sunny skies this afternoon as the light begins to fade.

Also - not exactly today's weather, but an indication of the autumn and winter we've had so far in SW England - we are still eating fresh tomatoes that grew in our (unheated) greenhouse!  My husband cleared the last of the green plants still alive just before Christmas and brought in all the green ones - we still have a pound or so left, ripening on the window sill. Now that is amazing and unheard of for January - never in nearly 30 years of growing tomatoes here!

I have hardly worn gloves either this season - maybe twice?

We have had a mild winter here too. Very little frost up until now. Mind you last year we had ten foot snow drifts in March so plenty of winter yet to come.

My bulbs have been up for weeks now.....strange times.

Calm before the storm here, me thinks. Clear skies, little or no wind. It's supposed to blow up big time tonight. I'm getting hair cut tomorrow, so weather is bound to be atrocious.

Really unsure what's coming tonight....doesn't look good. Supposed to be at mothers in the morning but who knows. It's a Coast road and metres from the sea. Will will just have to wait and see how it goes.

Still remarkably calm here, not a puff of wind.

I can hear the wind now. Glad I'm in the house. It's getting stronger by the minute.

Suddenly started here too, though not too bad at the moment.

Very noisy during the night. Sure some of our tiles have loosened. Still very stormy.

The B&B was very sheltered last night.
Just got home to find the bin having gone AWOL from it's home. Luckily, only went 10 yds or so.
Forecast is bad for tonight as well, so back to the B&B then.

Bright blue sky.  Sunshine.  Blustery.

Do you have to travel far Limpy?

No CLKD we didn't. The strange thing is where we stayed is even more in the mountains than where we live, but was so, so sheltered. Also, their broadband is tremendous, 6Mbps, when we left home yesterday ours was 160Kbps. Have to have a think about this.......

The wind was howling here last night - woke me up a few times so it must have been bad.
