Heatwave, what heatwave? I jest not. They promised us hot weather, yeah right. 17 degrees. Bit sunny, bit windy but not hot. DD was expecting hot sunshine, instead they have had rain. Who's doing the weather forecasting?

True, our day/night temperatures have been fairly similar. DDs will be 23 degrees tonight. It's actually getting warmer throughout the day there.

We have an amber weather warning here rain and severe flooding it said on the local News, its suppose to start about two or three in the morning, well that will cool things down.

No sign of it yet though.

it was 33 in our toyota at 4.45 p.m. down to 28 as we drove
now there is thunder in the air and it poured down a brief while ago

No sign of any storms or rain yet, HB you were right I woke in the night to rumbles of thunder and lightening but nothing else, our weather

report  today says 100% chance of rain and humidity 100%.

Just wring me out and hang me on the line, as I have been drinking loads of water but not much is coming out the other end in this heat and humidity  ::)

I should lose pounds in water weight when the weather gets back to normal :)

Weds night/thurs morning early hours, lightning and heavy rain but not too much in the way of rumbles, , but Dorset is suffering extremely heavy rain now, thunder and lightning, been going on since 1pm this morning, air is a wee bit cooler now,  far too hot overnight, couldn't open the veluxes above us a we'd have got soaked..

We had a 10 minute sudden monsoon. Drains couldn't cope. Now sun is trying to break through. No thunder for us yet.
