Wet most of the day but a lovely sunny evening. Good forecast for tomorrow.

We dashed inside. But the rain moved round: again
…….. dull, lights on indoors …….. windows all open though to get a breeze through.

Hot sunshine so far, low humidity and it was cool for sleeping last night.
Perfect weather if the humidity holds off

Humid last night until gentle rain began around 10.30 whilst I was in the bath, could have saved on water
laid in the bath listening to the spatter on our pond surfaces. Cooler this morning. HOT though!

lots of thunderstorms in the night. Cool morning but a lovely day now. Poor OH - he's stuck in the office all week and tomorrow's supposed to rain.

I didn't know in the depth of sleep in the night whether it was lorries along the nearby road or thunder
- then I heard it raining, hard. Muggy now following a torrential storm between 8.30 and 9.00, the air was misty due to the humidity! Haven't hung towels out 'cos they will dry too hard ……….. sitting watching le Tour, they have hot sunshine too and they are cycling upwards

Do you get blips in your services when the weather is ruff?
Hot ……. DH is making a cuppa. Even the birds are quiet ……… it will be lovely in the evening, jasmine 'clotted cream' wafting over the patio in the cooling air

One time, about 10 years ago, when the weather was ruff we didn't have a phone or broadband for 5 weeks. Similarly, about 7 years ago lightening struck a telegraph pole and split it in half, that was another 5 weeks with nothing. It's not been as bad since (a mere 2 or 3 weeks) but we still get twitchy when there's lighting.
When it rains the broadband is very very slow, not really usable really. The phone is so noisy that you can't hear what is being said

Really hot but very windy. Sat and watched wind surfers earlier. They were having a ball.
Think we might miss the storms but are going to get heavy rain tomorrow.
