This time last year was awful. They even had 10ft snowdrifts in Jersey, taxi driver told us last summer.
Today, I drove short distance to stresscos. Turned onto road which store is on, and quite literally was hit by sudden heavy snow pellets, virtual whiteout. In about 2 minutes it was starting to lie. Came out about 10 minutes later, sun was shining, snow was melting. Drove home & there had been nothing! As the crow flies we're about 400 yds from store. It was just the way it came across, driven by strong winds.
