Glad that U enjoyed it. Weather is supposed to change tomorrow and become cooler.  We are sitting on the patio with a cool breeze, watching a pair of blackbirds and a robin who want meal worms and I have 3 left  :-\. Evening primroses are opening slowly as the sun drops to attract moths etc..  Bees loving the loosestrife ...... beats anything on the box!

It's much cooler than last week and the weekend, thankfully, but I can't tell if it's muggy still or if that's just me lol 😀 It's only 20 deg today.

Don't worry, it's muggy!

A short sharp shower of rain then it's gone. We do outdoors sports this evening but the wind is blustery.   :-\

As above.  Water ran off the baked earth. At least the water barrels are filled, we need more catchment but have no room !

Warm today.  Hopefully no-one in the South of England has suffered flooding etc.?

The heavens have just opened up here, with the odd rumble too. 😃
Love a good thunderstorm I does! ⛈️

Bloomin freezing today in comparison to what we've had lately.

We keep getting thunderstorm warnings but they never arrive  :(  and I love them.

There's 2 thunderstorms that I'll never forget.
The first was when I was little and we were on holiday in a caravan in Wales. It was like someone hammering on the roof.
The second was about 25 years ago and we were camping with the kids. In a tent ⛺. Now that was interesting to say the least ;D

:D it may well have been some1 hammering on the roof  ;D.  MayB the farmer in whose field you had camped?

Our 1st trip in our A-frame tent was to the foot of Cader Idris in a field full of buttercups.  I didn't sleep a wink as it had poured int he early evening and I was convinced that the river would take our tent away.  When I got out the next morning to bright sunshine, we were no where near the river  ::) but in my head  :-\

We did have a flooding issue when in Aberystwyth to watch the Pro-cycling City Tour - the day had been bright sunshine until 20 mins B4 the mens' race when the heavens opened  :o we got back to the camper 2 find that the awning with a built in ground sheet had 4" of water in 1 corner  :o.  2" from the sleeping bags hanging over chairs to air  :-\.  A lot of baling was required  ;D

Cooler.  Grey. Intermittent showers over night so the washing hangs.  Limply.  Hasn't put off the insects though  :-* some of which have infiltrated my jeans  :(

Storm 'floris' on its way ?   We decided to do a tip run with greenery as our recycling bins are full, as we arrived the tip was closed so we sat.  In the car.  Rain hitting the roof.  Hard  ;D.

Blustery.  Drizzling intermittently in the Midlands.  Apparently we shouldn't drive North of Preston  ?
