I've been feeling a tad Bah Humbug this week. Nowadays the build up lasts for so long & it's over so quickly. I bought couple of things for hubby today for his Christmas. A big chunky Cardigan in a sale & a gift card. Still to wrap them.

sure you already know how bah humbug I am, having to go to horrid Aunts on Christmas day, with Mum and Dad too.  My Dad and his sister enjoy, but me, Mum and DH do not.  I got round this awful day by suggesting to DH we had 'our day' on boxing day, we do nothing but eat and watch tv (this is something we never do normally) he has agreed so I am now looking forward to boxing day   In an ideal world I would love to go away too, but I doubt my Dad would speak to me again.

Fixed grin drawer ajar  …….. I took Valium for years to 'get through' so viewed the few days slightly numb.  I can do the same out of habit and I try not to react when Mum 'starts' ………
