Ooh I'd love a lamb hotpot! :P  Lamb is banned in this house 'cause hubby doesn't like it and can't bear the smell of it cooking.

So, sex or lamb hotpot? Well there's more chance of  my getting a portion of sex than there is hotpot, so make mine a double helping of hotpot please, and don't skimp on the dumplings!

Yesterday started the day not good - feeling yuk with new antibiotic. Daughter had another screaming match at me - I ended up in tears. However I have myself permission to chill-out on sofa for a few hours. Ended up having a good day - did three hours of work and felt much better for it.

Today am feeling really sick with these ab's - got a night out with my old work - it's my official leaving do - yikes not seen them in six weeks. I want to look stunning tho! Hope I feel better as the day goes on. Xxx

Thanks BOB! Starting to feel a bit nervous now as I guess it will be quite emotional. Not seen everyone in six weeks - worked there for ten years tho and built the company up from a very small one. Anyway deep breaths and off we go!  Finally my tummy is starting to settle after my ab's but had to go to bed this afternoon to sleep it off. Will let you all know how it goes. Xxx

Bought my party dress for the 3 parties I have in December.
It's a lovely deep red that my daughter helped me to chose.
Felt good when I tried it on.Got into a size 10  :-\
but as my daughter said, had to buy some miracle knickers to hide
a few lumps and bumps.

Am soooooooo proud of myself. Been feeling awful all day but found a way to rest up and take care of myself. Made it to my night out and had a lovely time. It felt nice to see my old colleagues again but in no way did I think I had made the wrong decision in leaving. I was really spoilt with gifts money and cards. Got a gift voucher for my fav shop - White stuff and I plan to go shopping there tom as they have a sale on. All in all a lovely evening. Thanks for all your support and kind wishes. Xxx

I'm so glad for you  :foryou:  It is such a great feeling when we find ways to cope and make ourselves feel better. Sounds like you have a good day planned tomorrow.

Today I went paddling in the sea and that made me feel wonderful (well actually it was yesterday now I look at the time)

Well done, HS - that is brilliant!  :congrats: Really does show that you're right to take a bit more care of yourself.  :)

Glad you had such a lovely time H&S and you feel good today.  Enjoy shopping!

Paddling in the sea sounds lovely Taz - but is it not a wee bit cold at this time of year?   Mind you, my garden is so waterlogged with water I could probably paddle in that  ;D.  Nothing can compare to the sound of the sea though.

What a treat SuziQ - they sound fabulous.

Congratulations on 10 years together.   Sounds like a lovely day out.

I have managed to get tickets for the Christmas Lights switch on in Glasgow - after a fight with technlogy and engaged phone lines for almost an hour.  My sister, Mum, nephews, daughter etc. all go together for the fun and afterwards for a meal together.  Now off to meet my sister for bra shopping and lunch.

Have a great day everyone.
