Hi C. No we didn't. We made the most of the beach where we were. Grandson couldn't get over being so near to it and made a dash there with his bucket and spade every time we came out of the door 

We are going back next year so it'll stay on the to do list

Well, apparently we're in for an Indian summer next week with temperatures of up to 27C!

Indian summer this week... oh hell.. back to more frequent hot flushes for another while then      I was enjoying the cooler days.
By the way does anyone know why it's called Indian summer?
