I have had our heating on for 2 evenings to warm up the bathroom.  Now it's pouring hard!

We got underfloor heating put in our bathroom when it was done.  Really good when it's freezing outside.  Only problem is you have to put it on about 30 minutes before you have a bath/shower.  Very subtle warmth, but cosy.  There is a timer but I haven't mastered the workings of that yet.  ??? :-\

I know what you mean about timers CG. Every kind of central heating I've had - I have never been able to set the timers. :(

No traffic problems here apart from the few oldies on mobility scooters that I see early when I'm going for the papers  ;D

Nice and sunny here, but there was an autumnal nip in the air this morning.

We were supposed to be getting torrential rain most of afternoon.  Had 30 minutes and now it's brightening up.  It has got decidedly chillier though.  Winter's coming.   :(
