A is definitely on its way.  Leaves are starting to turn right enough. We have some sunshine today. Yippee.

They had a red alert on the news last night "very heavy down poors and likely flooding" in Scotland.

Freezing here, wet & windy.  No hot water or central heating either.  High pressure in boiler so we are not to use till tomorrow morning.

Where are you Cubagirl? It is very warm here but the Robin is singing his Autumn song... and I am feeling a little lift in my spirits!

High pressure in your boiler is never a good thing!

CG is in Aberdeen.

Our village was marooned for a little while today due to road floods and its still coming down like stair rods  :(

Hope it stops soon.

Yep good old Aberdeen!  Can't see the blooming Northern Lights for clouds!    ;D ;D Wrong time of year too.  Hubby had a look at the boiler it has now gone into "safe mode".  So we've dug out our old faithful fan heater from about 30 odd years ago to give a quick blast of heat.  No hot water though.  But engineer coming tomorrow between 8am & 1pm.  I should have phoned earlier when I heard strange noises coming from the boiler.  Never mind.

We have our heating on too. I really hate having to do this in August. Our summer has been better than the last four years, but today its cold cold cold.
