Title: anybody seen Red Hatters or maybe you are one
Post by: Pennyfarthing on July 29, 2016, 02:15:51 PM: IN town this morning and a coach load of red hat ladies descended! I've seen them before and they're ladies over 50 who like to wear purple clothes and red hats and have fun apparently.
They were inspired by the Jenny Stanley poem "when I'm old I shall wear purple" etc

I googled it and there are "chapters" All over the place. They were having a good laugh anyway and some of their outfits were amazing and the hats were like Royal ascot gone red!!

She was a very happy, jolly woman who said that she belonged to this group of woman who had days out etc.

Perhaps we should start one ;D ;D

If you're over 50 you'd qualify as a Red Hatter Taz! ;). under 50s wear pink hats .... Apparently!

The KL lot were all of a 'certain' age though I'm no where near that â€¦â€¦â€¦ am I :P
