Evie65:
Hi all.

New to this...... hot flushes are a nightmare!  The discussions on here have been really helpful and I now know Im not going mad!  already started on some of the suggested tablets, hope they work.  Not the worst issue but a pain non the less is my dry hair!  With already spending money trying out various herbal remedies I  don't want to spend a fortune on the masses of hair care products out there.  What's working for you?

CLKD:
:welcomemm:  we have lots of topics, we even talk about menopause sometimes  ;)

I use various shampoos depending on how the hair feels: baby shampoo is the one I grab for when it needs a quick wash, in the shower I have various types ……. also having a good cut is important - some people use vinegar, beer or lemon juice as a final rinse: dependant on whether you don't mind smelling like a chippy, a pub or …………  ::)

Evie65:
Thanks, I'll certainly give the baby shampoo a try.

So the many many shampoos for 'mature women' and extra moisture brands etc are not worth trying at all?

honeybun:
Taking a fish oil supplement will help your hair too.

Some of the deep moisture shampoos leave my hair heavy & greasy as do some 2 in 1 shampoos. Tresemme works well with my hair, I have to say.
